WHY A NEW CATEGORY?

Designed Around the Gaps in Family Entertainment.

Our FEC Gap Taxonomy identifies 128 recurring weaknesses across traditional family entertainment. Future Experience uses the most important gap categories as design requirements — not as problems to fix later.

01

Novelty & Repeat Visitation

Static attractions lose novelty. Monthly themes, missions, programs, levels and events create new reasons to return.

02

Development & Meaningful Value

Entertainment can do more than occupy time. Movement, thinking, creativity, problem-solving and visible outcomes are built into play.

03

Personalization & Progression

Profiles, interests, levels, recommendations, long-term challenges and saved projects make the experience increasingly personal.

04

Parent & Whole-Family Experience

Parents can participate, observe, work, relax, drink coffee, connect and understand what their children are accomplishing.

05

Social, Community & Programming

Clubs, competitions, Expos, schools, camps, mentors and community events turn the park into a recurring family platform.

06

Physical Environment & Inclusion

Active play, sensory experiences, different intensity levels, recovery spaces, visibility and accessibility support more children and families.

07

Technology & Digital Continuity

Technology supports creation, personalization and continuity. Projects and progress can continue across visits and, for members, from home.

08

Business Model & Operations

Memberships, packages, Tokens, parties, workshops, food, retail, schools, sponsorship and events diversify the operating model.

REPEAT-VISIT ENGINE

Designed for the Next Visit.

The objective is not discounted access to an unchanged park. Membership and repeat visits should mean new content, deeper projects, progress, recognition and community.

  • Monthly themes. Entrance screens, exhibitions, Planetarium content, activities and events rotate around topics such as Space, Energy, Robotics and Future Cities.
  • Strong weekly programming. Robotics, math challenges, brain activation, AI discovery, science, language, game development, design and family programs.
  • Levels and progression. Children move through levels, unlock challenges and build a persistent Future Profile.
  • Long-term challenges. Some missions intentionally cannot be completed in one visit and require the child to return, improve, test or add the next stage.
  • Projects continue. Creative work can be saved and resumed on the next visit; selected activities can continue online from home for members.
  • Reward points. Progress and participation generate points that can be redeemed for attractive goods in the Reward Store.
  • Tokens. Visits include creative Tokens; additional Tokens can be purchased for more tasks or premium generation.
  • Showcase opportunities. Children can present finished projects to parents, relatives, friends, other children and the wider community.
  • Events and Expos. Competitions, showcases, Family Experience Expos, school programs, camps and themed events create appointment-based demand.
  • Membership as continuity. Membership combines access, progression, online continuation, exclusive programs and belonging — not only discounts.
